Fix It UK was tasked with building a banger car over the past few months to be raced at Buxton raceway. 
Our post 16 learners have expanded their knowledge on metal fabrication and general motor vehicle skills. With this knowledge, they produced a banger car as a team. 
Learners had the opportunity to become a pit lane mechanic and were tasked with fixing the car as it came in from the race. 
The learners had a brilliant time and are looking forward to working towards this again next year. 
As always, our learners represented the charity in a mature fashion – we’re very proud!
