This week, staff attended a SEN event, which provided a valuable opportunity for young people to explore the support and services available to them.
The event brought together a wide range of organisations to help young people and vulnerable adults in their future planning.
Our Motor Vehicle Lead Tutor took some resources/tools in order for people attending to take a wheel off and then put it back on themselves (the adults loved this one too!)
Our Functional Skills Lead took some ingredients to make mocktails
. This was used to demonstrate how we use maths in real time, using a measuring jug and scales in order to get the perfect drink!
Overall, the event was informative and empowering. Thank you for having us!
